How the clips look

I got a request to see a shot of the no-clip clips in action. So I gathered up my favorite model and tried them out.

As you can see they stay in even the finest of hair.

New Stuff!

I am trying my best to stay fresh and creative. So I thought about expanding my product line a bit, making things that even I would wear. I mean, I love the clippies I make but it's not like you are going to find an adult woman walking around with one of my ladybug clips in her hair, you know? So I browsed around for some inspiration and then just got down to it. I worked really hard on these beauties, there was quite a bit of trial and error. Here they are, my newest creation. Handsewn and hand beaded fabric flowers!

I think the red is my favorite.

Maybe the yellow....

But, I really love the black too!

Starting a business, Week One

Let me tell you, it's sort of scary. What if no one likes my products? The things I made with my own hands, the things I put so much time and effort into. What if I don't sell anything?

Scary.

But also? Also it's exciting. Taking that leap, making mistakes. Learning, growing. I am really trying to do things the best way. Making sure my business cards are presentable, my graphics are eye-catching and professional. Trying to keep my ideas fresh and exciting and, well cute of course. I also have delved into the world of advertisement. Two popular mommy bloggers are now the newest ad space for Sweet Adeline Shop. Thanks Blair and Mandy! I have read that it takes up to three months to see revenue increases from advertising, so I know to be patient. It's all so fresh and new and I am so excited to be on this journey!

Coming later this week, pictures of my new products! Oh I am so pumped about these little pretties, hopefully you will like them too!
